Born and raised in Queens, this Nigerian and Spanish musician takes inspiration from many different genres and incorporates it into his work. His newest release "Pew Pew Pew" is no exception. From the beginning, my interest was captured by the acoustic guitar being used. I feel like we don't usually hear a lot of acoustic guitar in R&B tracks, but the energy it brought was unmatched. Swxm's soothing, buttery vocals on top of the simple instrumental makes this track feel like summer. Overall, this song is catchy, relaxing, and definitely a vibe.
